| ACOUSTIC PRODUCTS: HVAC Duct Silencers |
|
NAP rectangular and circular duct silencers have been the industry standard for over 35 years. Performance is backed with extensive independent laboratory testing of the insertion loss, regenerated noise level, and aerodynamic performance across the whole range, together with an on-going programme of continual product development.

Rectangular Silencers
The main factors that affect the acoustic performance are the silencer length, the open area, and the splitter thickness. NAP offer three different series (D, E & H) for increasing low frequency acoustic performance. All have different splitter thicknesses and airway spacing between the splitters, resulting in different percentage open areas. They all feature:
- Standard or low-pressure loss variants.
- Specially formed nose section which provides a larger acoustic splitter whilst retaining a low pressure loss entry.
- Standard galvanised or optional stainless steel construction.

Circular Silencers
Wide range of sizes from 100 diameter upwards to suit standard duct and fan sizes.
- Available in two series – with & without central pod - for maximising performance.
- Standard length increments from 1 diameter to 4 diameters, or to suit specific applications.
- Standard galvanised or optional stainless steel construction.

Crosstalk Silencers
The Airvent range of cross-talk or air relief silencers has been specially designed to solve the problem of transferring air from adjacent areas without transferring unwanted noise. They feature:
- Four configurations - I, L, Z & U shape for application flexibility.
- High performance in the important speech frequency range.
- Guaranteed acoustic and aerodynamic performance.
