Swirl Diffusers
Swirl diffusers incorporate very high induction rates to quickly minimise supply to room air temperature differentials and provide superior comfort levels to standard diffusers. They are especially suitable for rooms with high heat loads that require high air exchange rates.
Trox produce a large range of swirl diffusers to suit multiple applications from offices to museums and galleries to sports arenas. These include, but are not limited to:
- VDW series with diffuser pattern flexibility.
- TDV & TDF SilentAir series for large volume flows and low noise.
- VDL series with adjustment for installation heights >3.8m.
- ADD series for incorporating client design features.

Displacement Diffusers
Trox manufacture a wide range of displacement diffusers which can be integrated into walls or structural columns, and designed to complement and highlight architectural design or to simply remain unobtrusive or hidden. Ideal for use in raised floor applications or where high ceilings prevent proper air distribution by conventional means.
- SD series step diffusers for sports facilities, theatres and lecture halls.
- FB series floor diffusers for raised floor applications in museums, offices and performing arts facilities.
- QLE/QLK series free standing or wall mounted displacement outlets.

Slot Diffusers
Trox slot diffuser feature the most adaptable air discharge pattern on the market with right, left, or alternating flows in both horizontal or angled discharges. Available in 15, 35 and 50mm diffuser face widths and up to 4 slots wide to suit volume flows and ceiling grid layouts. Also available with the Varyset configuration, which maintains stable discharge characteristics during large volume flow ranges characteristic of VAV systems.
