Chilled Ceilings
Trox chilled ceilings provide the occupants of buildings with a high indoor air quality with reduced noise levels and greater efficiency than standard all air systems. The benefits of chilled ceilings include:
- Less energy is used to remove heat via water than air, therefore providing operational cost savings and
smaller plant space requirements.
- A smaller ceiling void than necessary with an all air system.
- Easy maintenance with no moving parts above the ceiling.
- Large proportion of radiant cooling gives high levels of comfort in the occupied zone.
- Fresh air can be introduced via ceiling or floor mounted diffusers, using mixed flow or displacement methods.
