RECUPERATOR Heat Recovery
Sensible heat recovery Sensible heat recovery using air-to-air plate type heat exchangers. Standard applications include:
  • Heat recovery from the exhaust air for swimming pools.
  • Run around pre-cooling and post-heating in air handling units
  • Heat recovery from flue gases.
Product features:
  • Cross flow and counter flow designs with typical single unit efficiencies from 50% to 75% sensible heat recovery.
  • High reliability & low maintenance costs.
  • Total separation of the airstreams.
  • Available in aluminium, pre-coated aluminium and stainless steel for specific applications.
SEIBU-GIKEN Heat Recovery
Latent heat recovery Latent heat recovery using counter flow thermal wheel type heat exchangers.
  • Featuring ion absorption technology for minimal odour transference between airstreams.
  • Rotary design with efficiencies from 60% to 90% heat recovery, including latent energy.
  • Anti-germ mould proof agent for improved IAQ.
  • Low leakage between the two airstreams.
  • Application flexibility with horizontal or vertical installation.
SEIBU-GIKEN Dehumidification
Latent heat recovery DST Seibu-Giken of Japan / Sweden is a world leader in desiccant dehumidification & the inventor of the silica gel desiccant wheel. From small portable units to large industrial dehumidifiers for the process industry, DST have energy saving initiatives for:
  • Efficiency - System and dehumidifier efficiency.
  • Environment - Controlling humidity sustainably.
  • Economic - Competitive design approaches.

Core applications include:

  • Storage - Museums, archives, spare parts and military
  • Process - Food, Pharmaceutical
  • Commercial DOAS - Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems for building ventilation for greenstar applications, hospitals, supermarkets, & indoor pools.

Product features

  • Silica gel chemically bonded to the structure, which means that there is no desiccant carry-over to the air
  • Excellent service lifetime - after 10 years of operation the rotor retains more than 90% of its original capacity.
  • The rotor can be washed if it becomes contaminated - especially important for rotors working under harsh conditions.
  • The rotor is bacteriostatic.
