Clivet's patented water source packaged unit for the simultaneous and independent production of
heating and cooling energy features a global efficiency COP of 9.8, whilst being more reliable
and less expensive both from a capital and operational standpoint.
The use of water as an exchange source allows the unit to be practically independent from
external conditions, offering excellent performance during the entire functioning cycle.
In addition, the system may use naturally available water from wells, ground sources, rivers,
lakes or the sea.
The unique energy recovery technology on the hydraulic circuit reduces the complexity of adjustments
on the refrigeration circuit by 90% compared to other "multi-use" units available on the market
and featuring functional switching on the cooling circuit.

well designed and highly efficient packaged refrigeration plant including water chillers,
heat pumps, multifunction total recovery heating and cooling units, and pump stations.
They hold a number of patents on four-pipe multi-functional heating and cooling units and
have had these units in production since 1996.
These units are available in two, four and six pipe modes for total energy recovery, and
feature advanced micro-processor control for both simultaneous and independent production
of chilled, heating and potable water (dependent upon model). The multiple scroll compressor
technology gives the highest seasonal efficiencies.

circuit total recovery heat pumps have a main circuit, in which the exchanger works as an evaporator in
the summertime and a condenser in the wintertime, and a secondary circuit in which there is an heat-recovery
exchanger specifically designed for producing hot water for domestic use.
