Reflex vacuum spray-tube deaeration with integrated water make-up systems are used in conjunction with diaphragm expansion vessels or pressurisation systems to reduce the level of dissolved gases in the water.
They provide:
Active degassing of even dissolved gases; up to 90% separation leaving the water virtually oxygen & nitrogen free. This results in up to a 10% efficiency gain via better heat transfer from chillers/boilers/heat exchangers, and better pump efficiency with reduced cavitation.
Reduced long term damage from corrosion and deposits, resulting in less maintenance and a longer service life for the entire system.
A saving on chemicals added to water to remove oxygen.
No gurgling or flow noises.
Elimination of the need for decentralized venting and mechanical air separation.
The process is electronically monitored and optimized by a Reflex Control unit with options for permanent and interval degassing, taking care of the requirements of both system start-up and long term operation.
The Reflex range comprises:
Servitec – Automatically controlled vacuum degassing for system volumes up to 270m³
Fillcontrol systems for controlled, automated water make-up.
The following video shows the operation of a Reflex Servitec vacuum degasser.
